Authority of Scripture
The Bible is the inspired word of God. It is Truth and the source of all knowledge. It is living and active and shapes how we think, act, and live our lives. (Hebrews 4:12 & 13, John 17:17, 2 Timothy 3:16)
Prayer
We believe in prayer on every occasion. The spirit will give us wisdom and understanding if we ask for it. Our desire is that our direction will come from the Lord. (1 Corinthians 2, Philippians 4:6, James 5:16, Mark 11:24, Ephesians 6:18)
Value all students
If we have received Him, we are children of God. He knew us before He even knit us together in the womb. Every child is a precious gift made in God’s image, created to do good works. (Psalm 119:73, Psalm 139:13, John 1:12, Ephesians 2:10)
Provide the highest quality education
We believe God’s truth (Bible) should be central to the curriculum — integrated into every subject at every skill level. Every child and staff member is expected to do their best, for we do all things for God’s glory. (Romans 1:20, Colossians 3:23)
Christian character and service
Christ-like character traits are modeled so that our students can learn to be more like Him. As we become more like Him, we can make a difference in our community and the world. (Deuteronomy 4: 5&6, 1 Corinthians 11:1)
Home, school, & church partnership
The church, parents, and C4CL are partners in Christ all working together to train children. Parents start a child off in the way they should go and with their help, we will continue them on the path of righteousness. (Philippians 1:3-6, Proverb 22:6, Proverbs 8:20)
Educate the whole child
We train the whole child: intellectually, spiritually, physically, and emotionally. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit –– they are not our own. (1 Corinthians 6:19&20, Romans 12:1&2, Ephesians 4:32)
